Jenny Lott, Civil Celebrant

I am a person with an effervescent personality and a sense of 'joie de vivre'. I initially trained to be a Civil Marriage Celebrant so I could officiate at my daughter's wedding. The joy I experienced during this event motivated me to launch into a rewarding role as a celebrant and with a genuine passion I see it as a vocation and feel honoured when people allow me to share in significant celebrations in their life's journey. 

I live in Newcastle with my little dog Beau. I have two beautiful adult children and two little grandchildren who I love spending time with. I have lived in large cities and remote rural areas across NSW and Tasmania. I enjoy gardening and have travelled extensively throughout Australia and abroad. 

For the past 25 years I have worked in the educational arena. During this time I received many awards for my academic excellence and dedication, which I now offer my clients. 

My experience working in a variety of professions where success relies on personal interactions, outstanding 

communication and strong organisational skills, combined with an ability to empathise with the needs of others, has

proven invaluable as a celebrant.
